I have two passions: writing and music. In many places those two interests are one and the same, such as in lyrics.

In my weekly Mad Sounds Blog,  I’ll disuss my personal opinions on music, bands, genres, songs, musical movements, musicians, shows, stage performances and more than likely, a few topics off the beaten path.

On a typical day I spend at least three hours listening to music. Blogging gives me a voice in the local music scene; and allows me to share my knowledge as I increase my own familiarity with music and refine my tastes.

Eight Insights into Chris:

• I’m a teenager who loves everything about music: playing, listening, writing
• I like singing. I’m still working on my vocal skills.
• I play the guitar: accoustic and electric.
• My ideal car is a Mustang Shelby, both the modern and the 1967 classic.
• My vehicle of choice is a Kawasaki Ninja Bike, but I have respect for Harleys.
• In addition to playing guitar, I enjoy biking, kayaking, white water rafting, climbing, fishing, soccer, and creative writing, especially script writing.
• Someday I’d like to travel to New Zealand; Australia; Israel; Istanbul, Turkey; and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
• I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo of a flaming spiral on my back below my left shoulder.
